The location is simply stunning. Had the Seafood Platter and it was excellent but also extremely good value. There is plenty of indoor seating in the extension to the Manor house. Staff are lovely.

A beautiful drive up the coast from Campbeltown. There is a smokehouse on the property where they smoke and preserve local salmon. The food is superb and can be quite busy. After your meal you can take a stroll through the Skipness Castle. Also when the smokehouse store is open stop in to buy some delicious food stuffs.

Absolutely delicious seafood. Fresh and very tasty. The seafood platter was amazing and it came with a dish of muscles in garlic and butter that melted in your mouth. And I've become an oyster fan after visiting. The staff where very friendly and once you received the food to the table they left you in peace to enjoy it at your own leasure. Thank you for making our visit a very pleasant day and a brilliant memory for our holiday.

What a wonderful find. The views are stunning with the castle behind and Aaron across the water..then the food...what can I say..the best seafood so far of our trip around Scotland. Very fresh and tasty. Would definitely recommend.

Highly recommend! We took the short scenic drive from Tarbert to Skipness and it was well worth it, what a find the Skipness Seafood Cabin is. Stunning location, we were fortunate it was a sunny day and we could enjoy their outdoor seating. The staff were all polite, friendly and a joy to interact with. Service was great overall. And the food was just fantastic. Well presented, fresh and delicious, good value for money too. After a few dining disappointments on this trip, with poor service, low quality food and over pricing, it was refreshing to find a place that showed real thought and care about their business. Quite frankly we cannot understand why places like this are the exception and not the norm? We enjoyed the oysters and crab salad. Dating back to the 1200’s, Skipness Castle is right next door and well worth a walk around. A short stroll along the shore will take you to St Brendan’s Chapel, also worth a look. All in all a fabulous day out.

Incredible evening in a glorious location, smiley staff and wonderful fresh food, brilliantly cooked. A real treat. I’m just glad it isn’t closer to home or we might go bankrupt pretty quick!

Wonderful dog friendly seafood (no meat) restaurant. Plenty of high chairs for kids and great views of Skipness Castle, the Isle of Arran and the Kilbrannan Sound.
